Why we built it
A few years into shipping subscription apps on iOS, we noticed a quiet line item draining our payouts: refunds. Not the loud ones. The silent kind, processed in the background, that no one on the team had context for. Each one a bit of revenue gone, with no chance to respond.
We thought that was backwards. Apple sends a consumption request for many of these, and a short window to respond. So we built Refund Sensor: it answers those requests for you automatically, submitting your refund preference to Apple so you recover revenue without lifting a finger.
We're an independent team shipping in public, helping developers recover refund revenue. The goal is simple: less revenue leaking out of the App Store, more time spent building.
